BONANNO Raymond "Pete" Salvadore Bonanno passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2012, at 9:00am. Son of Salvadore and Mary Rizzo Bonanno, brother of the late Joseph and Lawrence, and sister Rosalie Bonanno. School teacher and coach at public and parochial schools in Orleans parish. Veteran of WWII, 56th Fighter Squadron, 57th Group, 12th Air Force, served in N. Africa from August, 1941 to September, 1945. Survived by his nieces Mary "Patsy" B. Ordoyne and Dianne B. Rapp, and nephew Donald M. Bonanno. Also survived by many great- and great great- nieces and nephews. Priests and brothers of the Sacred Heart at Brother Martin, as well as family and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 11:00am, at Greenwood Funeral Home (formerly All Faiths), 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA 70124. | |
