My sister, Madalene Costa & I are care givers for our Mother, Carmelia Gaezzo (Caezzo), who is 103 yrs. old & is the granddaughter of Joseph & Catherine Gaezzo (Ceazzo) (Joseph lost an eye in the Civil War & died in 1910), of the New Orleans Ustica Society. They are buried at the St Barthomeo Mauseleum in Metairie, LA. Joseph's son, Tomaso Gaezzo (Carmelia's father) moved to St. Louis, MO. My family spent a lot of time in New Orleans, we still have relatives there. However, we have never known what happened to Tomaso's brother Dominick, who we believe moved to San Diego, CA. We didn't know there was a Ustica Society in New Orleans. Our Mom, Carmelia, may be one of the oldest living ancestor of the Ustica connection. She was born Feb., 19, 1910 in St. Louis, MO. Please help us with any information regarding our heritage and the Ustica Society.
Thank you so much for your time in this matter. & Josie Costa
