I had the most wonderful trip to Ustica ! Maria Compagno and Tony Pittari and
my family had a beautiful lunch together before we returned to Palermo. We met
Pietro Bertucci and Giulio Calderaro. I also connected with the descendants
of the Favaloro family who generously gave me 2 photos for my collection. I
am fortunate to have had my cousin spend the day with me he rented a motorcycle
and we drove all over the island took amazing pictures ! The time I was there
the priest was in Palermo so I didn't get the chance to ask for a lookup in
records.
Can anyone give me a contact for the church I wish to continue
researching my Favaloro line especially Maddalena Gallaci who died sometime
before 1879 she is my 3rd great grandmother who was married to Domenico Favaloro.
I know nothing of her parents.
I am fortunate to be returning for the
Feast of San Bartolomeo in August !
