On a recent visit to NOLA, Tammy and I did some family research. While Antonino's obituary said he was entombed in Washington Cemetery No.1, I used www.findagrave.org to locate Antonino in Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery. The Compagno tomb is located on the south side of Section 10, Lot 150-151. The tomb's owner is Mrs. J. Compagno. Obviously, Antonino was moved after initial entombment, and he is not even listed in the office records as being in the tomb (17 people total). His name is at the top of the door. Tammy gets a lot of credit for helping. She is a former insurance adjuster and quite the sleuth.
