Goodmorning,
I am Manuel Longo from Rome, Italy. I would like to thank
you for your commitment about genealogy recontructions wich allowed me to "find"
my family discendance since 1774! The father of my grandfather was Cpt. Vito
Longo, the one killed during the Battle of Dogali (Africa) in 1887, honoured
with the monument in the main square of the little Island. Looking at the available
informations I found that Mr. Giovanni Caravella was the marriage witness during
the wedding ceremony between Vito Longo and Giuseppa Luca, the 19 september,
1832...great coincidence!
