Thanks for responding.I just received copies of the registration of birth.When I requested a copy of my grandfathers birth certificate, I was sent a copy of his and his sisters (Margharita)Russo. They were both registered on August 19, 1898. The age of Giuseppe was listed as 49, Giuseppina was 37. There was also a brother borne in 1885, Giavani (sp) and the last name was listed as Ruzzo. Not sure when the name was changed. My great grandparents died in Santa Clara County, CA, and I have not tried to get copies as yet.
