Pietro Pipitone and his Mike were involved in a feud with the DiChristina. Pietro murdered DiChirstina in 1910 and there is no indication that feud led to the killing of Manfre in California. Manfre killed Mike Pipitone in 1919. His widow, Pasqualina Albano married her cousin Angelo Albano and moved to California. It is believed that Manfre killed Angelo Albano in 1922 in California. Manfre paid Pasqualina a menacing visit and she shot him dead. It is believed that Manfre was an extortionist and when he died, the police found a list of prominent Italians. Pasqualina moved back to New Orleans.
