This next record is from the 1850 US census for New Orleans and listed here is Charles Disamon who is actually the Calogero DiSimone that we saw on the ship list from 2 years earlier. Calogero is one of those difficult names that do not translate into English and Charles is most commonly used in its place. Above him is his older brother Joseph which is Giuseppe in Italian and below him is listed Edward which is definitely not a first name we find in any form in Ustica. Based on his age, I would assume he might be the younger brother Felice. All three have Italy listed as their place of birth. And listed on the next page in the census living just next door ...
